Interesting: the rhyme that goes Katten och källingen, de trätte om vällingen also exists in Danish, although instead of a källing (kitten), it's a kælling (old woman). The Swedish version seems to make more sense, so I'm guessing it's the original. The Danish was apparently invoked by Herman Bang's pastor father according to an anecdote, meaning it would date at least back to the 19th century.
