It lacks the Icelandic translation and analysis, and its possible relation to Welsh caru (to love), cariad (love).--Manfariel (talk) 12:21, 15 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

The Icelandic can be added by someone who knows Icelandic, but the Welsh may just be a matter of the Old Norse being a borrowing from Latin carus, which would probably have a similar cognate in the Celtic languages, or which might have found its way into Welsh as a borrowing.
