Possible error[edit]

I ask an etymologist about the word kóń ("horse") being from PIE *kem- ("hornless") and he seems to disagree:

"There is no phonetic law: PIE *m > Slav. n'. The root *kem-/kom- is attested in Russian as kom not kon." Sjacrane (talk) 16:45, 3 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
