There is an alternative past tense: kon. I'm not entirely sure what the plural form would be. This form is definitely not standard Dutch, but it is quite well-known, I guess. 82.217.116.224 17:21, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

"Kon" is the standard past tense of "kunnen". It's plural is "konden". The two verbs are often not distinguished in dialectal Dutch, so yeah, someone might use "kennen" in the present and "kon" in the past, but I don't think we should add that form.
