Hang/Chill[edit]
Per the discussion in the Scriptorium I’ve added a quote of the original use of ‘lamp’ to mean ‘hang/chill’ (the 1988 Public Enemy song). I’ve labelled it as U.S because all the uses I can find are from there, with one possible exception, a song by the British rapper Dizzy Rascal[1], though I haven’t added that to the entry as it’s not clear which meaning of ‘lamp’ Dizzy intends to communicate in the song.
