Ten days, in US slang. I can see it on Urban Dictionary; it's something to do with one "Anthony Scaramucci" (and thus, if kept, it must be moved to a separate etymology). Equinox 02:59, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Etymology: Anthony “The Mooch” Scaramucci set an all-time record by serving as the White House Director of Communications for a mere ten days before he was “let go”, counting the day his appointment was announced as the start date. (The actual time he was in the White House is closer to six days.) Before that, the record was held by Jack Koehler, who served for 11 days. Scaramucci’s immediate predecessor, Sean Spicer, managed to hold the position for 49 days. I have not looked into the issue whether this slang sense meets our CFI.  --Lambiam 12:09, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Here are three cites: [1], [2], [3]. Some define it as 11 days.  --Lambiam 12:36, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Only one of the cites (from WaPo) is likely durably archived AFAICT. I suppose we could have them archived online using the WaybackMachine. Also, they don't span more than a year. DCDuring (talk) 15:05, 17 October 2019 (UTC)Reply
Ok, we now have three cites that span just over a year, which I believe to be permanently archived. Kiwima (talk) 21:43, 12 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
