Can anybody verify that noh/no, the Japanese drama style is capitalised in English? Why would this be? Not finding much with Google so far. — Hippietrail 15:41, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)

J/E dict uses "Noh"; w:Noh uses capitalization, while the page it references [1] uses both Noh [2] and noh [3]. AHD and M-W use No ("Noh" as variant). As for why... it is probably because it is perceived as a name. (Technically, I suppose it is, as "nō" means "skill, talent" first, but that doesn't explain things like "Kabuki".) —Muke Tever 20:23, 3 Jul 2004 (UTC)
