Jamaican Creole etymology[edit]

I'm not sure how this fits at the moment: Either a cognate or a possible additional step between Mende and Jamaican Creole is Ghanaian Pidgin English (gpe). Source: Huber, Magnus (1999) Ghanaian Pidgin English in Its West African Context, John Benjamins Publishing, →ISBN, page 102:nyanga 'vain; pride'. (Also references possibly etymologies from Hausa nyanga, yanga or Temne njaŋga.) - AdamBMorgan (talk) 18:59, 14 August 2017 (UTC)Reply
