@‎DerRudymeister The {{circumfix}} was only placed there a few days ago by Rua in the place of a double {{affix}} (essentially the same result as {{confix}}). What's the idea behind replacing circumfixes? ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 14:04, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

@‎Lingo Bingo Dingo The confix doesn't seem to produce the same result as the circumfix for categorizing words by prefix. When the circumfix is used, the verb doesn't seem to be listed under:

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:Dutch_words_prefixed_with_ont- When the confix is used the verb is listed under said category. Do notice the discrepancy with https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Category:Dutch_prefixed_verbs_with_ont-, where all verbs are listed regardless of whether a confix or a circumfix is used. --DerRudymeister (talk) 16:06, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

That's a fair point, the category isn't categorised under the prefix ont- either. @Rua The above discussion may concern you. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 15:52, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
It's categorised under ont- -en. —Rua (mew) 16:15, 14 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Rua Yes, but that isn't categorised under ont- either... Which I think was DerRudymeister's point. ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 13:35, 28 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
