Presumably from clinic (sense 3): # (medicine, obsolete) A school, or class, in which medicine or surgery is taught by examining and treating patients in the presence of the pupils. Can someone confirm this? Multiple Mooses (talk) 03:32, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
