Apparently the verb is pronounced with a 'cat' sound in the first syllable.zigzig20s 21:53, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- That suggests that, as well as being a heteronym, it is a different word with the same spelling (a homograph) and a different etymology. Compare "rapine". — Paul G 17:26, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
