Talk:rotten borough

The entry misses the point, in my opinion. I thought a rotten borough was when there were very few inhabitants and the inhabitants were bribed or blackmailed to vote for one candidate. So the candidates could 'buy' a parliamentary seat. Am I right? Mglovesfun (talk) 17:47, 1 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
