Interesting. "Being a writer" is like: having the job. But scribbling is doing the actual writing, hence sense 1 "To write or draw carelessly and in a hurry" seems almost to cover it, except that one might do bad writing carefully and slowly. Equinox ◑ 19:57, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
