@Equinox: Yep, that's good, though it might be better to split it in se prendre + un vent. I'd say it's a very common collocation more than a real unit.
Indeed you can say se ramasser un vent (a rarer synonym), foutre un vent à quelqu’un (the active version, [1]), se prendre un râteau, se prendre un poing dans la figure/gueule.
