Celtic descendants of Latin sēdēs[edit]

Of the Celtic descendants listed here, Welsh swydd ‘job’ is ok, I expect. But Irish suí, Scottish Gaelic suidhe are from Old Irish suide, which is from Proto-Celtic sodyom, according to the information on their own particular pages - i.e. not borrowed from Latin. --Caoimhin (talk) 18:50, 28 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
