Failure to be verified means that insufficient eligible citations of this usage have been found, and the entry therefore does not meet Wiktionary inclusion criteria at the present time. We have archived here the disputed information, the verification discussion, and any documentation gathered so far, pending further evidence.
Do not re-add this information to the article without also submitting proof that it meets Wiktionary's criteria for inclusion.

Haircut originated in Japan. A picture would be worth three cites (to me, if not to CFI) to determine whether this really exists and is something other that a [[shaggy]] [[cut]]. DCDuring TALK 01:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Delete, shaggy + cut; not verifiable and doesn't meet CFI. Mglovesfun (talk) 17:00, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
If it actually refers to a specific hairstyle "the shaggy cut" as opposed to "a shaggy cut", it might be real. DCDuring TALK 17:48, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
Moved to WT:RFD#shaggy cut, I can't cite it but I don't fancy just deleting it off the bat (which I could of course, as it's failed RFV). 14:11, 22 September 2009 (UTC) — This unsigned comment was added by Mglovesfun (talkcontribs).
