By way of experiment, I've separated the transitive & intransitive verb senses and moved the translations down to a level 5 heading. What do you think of this idea? Ortonmc 05:53, 19 Feb 2004 (UTC)~

Dislocation in general?[edit]

I think we might be missing a general noun sense meaning something like dislocation. For example, Chambers 1908 has "shoulder-slip, a sprain of the shoulder". Perhaps also in geology. We do have a more specific mining sense: "a dislocation of a lead, destroying continuity". Equinox 01:48, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
