I'm suspicious of some of these cites. They look to be modern reprints of old texts that somehow don't contain ANY hyphenated words. For example, twentytwo, thirtyeight, sofacushions, ... are written without a hyphen, which makes me suspect a typesetting error. This is not the first time we've seen this happen.
