intransitive 2. go with somebody 3. agree with somebody[edit]

2.  intransitive : to accompany or stay with somebody, often in a casual manner
She wanted to string along with us when we went to the shops.
3.  intransitive : to agree or go along with somebody or somebody's idea or suggestion
