How can the Sumerians have a word for chocolate? Chocolate is from the new world, and Sumeria disappeared thousands of years before the new world was discovered. — This unsigned comment was added by Tlholley (talk • contribs) at 12:33, 10 May 2009 (UTC).
- It must be either a joke entry or a very loose translation, but we need an expert on long-dead languages to know for sure. CAmbrose will be able to reassure us that it is a genuine word, and explain the translation. Perhaps it was a substance similar to chocolate? Dbfirs 16:59, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
