Are all swans white? I removed "white" from the definition. I'd done the same with "goose", as there is a species called "brown goose". -dmh 19:42, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)

There are black swans in Australia, scientifically Cygnus atratus. Apparently, the species in the southern hemisphere have some amount of black in them. Hyark 20:47, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
