Turkish entry[edit]

@Lambiam Could you check the Turkish entry? It was initially presented as being an Anglicization of taş. In diff, @Ketiga123 (reasonably imo) tagged it for deletion. Then an IP redefined the term, while leaving the RFD tag in place.__Gamren (talk) 10:19, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, that first take was pretty inane. But there is a Turkish word tas, and it does indeed mean bowl.  --Lambiam 00:00, 4 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thanks, I've removed the rfd tag.__Gamren (talk) 17:18, 4 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Tagalog[edit]

@Houflings As for the entry you added, I know it exists, the contraction of "tapos" colloquially, but have you encountered it spelled like this? Because I'm thinking, if we follow KWF orthography, contractions like this would be "ta's", I think. --Mar vin kaiser (talk) 11:06, 11 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
