Macquarie English Dictionary 1982 Jacaranda Press has Thankyou as one word, not two so it is NOT a 'common misspelling of the two words "thank You", rather it is an "alternative" spelling. Both are entirely correct. 203.15.73.29 03:57, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

The Oxford English Dictionary does not have "Thankyou" as an alternative spelling in it meaning it is incorrect. "Thank-you" is mentioned as an alternative but no "Thankyou" (188.221.9.3 20:29, 19 November 2011 (UTC))

"Thank you" is a standardised English phrase, not a chemical or a mineral. It is incorrect to use it as one word. It is two separate words.
