Why is this plural only? Surely there could be one of them. SemperBlotto (talk) 15:19, 26 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thats what the sources seem to show. They all have an "s" at the end. Elkenthedruuwss (talk) 15:20, 26 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

thirsties, plural of the supposed singular thirsty

Is this attested in the singular as well? Tagged here: diff --Fytcha (talk) 14:29, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

This does not belong at RfV: the term whose attestation is sought, a singular noun thirsty, is not a current entry. Move to RfC.  --Lambiam 14:35, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I can find a couple of citations where "Thirsties" are the baddies in some silly game/film/etc, and "a Thirsty" is the singular. I haven't found any examples where an actual person is a "thirsty", but it's not the easiest thing to search for. - -sche (discuss) 18:43, 21 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
I have cited "thirsty" meaning someone who is thirsty. I have moved the term to thirsty Kiwima (talk) 04:15, 25 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
