Plural of train of thought: I would think this should read "trains of thought". --Hekaheka 10:04, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

At bgc: train of thought (10480), trains of thought (2510); train of thoughts (1085), trains of thoughts (628). => all forms in widespread use (IMHO). DCDuring TALK 12:30, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
But I'd say trains of thoughts is the plural of train of thoughts, and trains of thought is the plural of train of thought. In that case our entry is wrong, regardless of the attestability of all four forms. (Would you pluralise type of book as types of books? I suppose some might.) Right. But it still gets its 30 days as the plural of train of thought. I'll move the RfV to RfV-sense. DCDuring TALK 18:32, 19 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
Deleted the "plural of train of thought" -sense as no defenders appeared. --Hekaheka 10:06, 25 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
