the vast majority[edit]

The percent of the time a majority is described as "vast" has increased steadily over time. Romani etymology[edit]

Romani preserved the "ṣṭ", as you can see from the description of my edit. The "st" is also preserved in "vast". Romani lost the "st" at the beginning of a word, as in "thulo", from Sanskrit "sthūla". "ṣ" is a dental, so it is more probably for it to be lost than the "s". But it hadn't been lost, so I think that "st" is preserved in "vast". ManFromSuceava (talk) 08:12, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply
