Do we need to have "The Spanish or Italian word for wine used in combination in various terms adopted from these languages " under the "English" heading? --Keene 09:53, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • If you can find b.g.c hits for English language sentences such as "We had vino rosso with our spaghetti." (without quotes or italics) then it has entered the English language. SemperBlotto 09:57, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    I don't agree: that only means "vino rosso" has entered the language as a unit. I've removed it, and changed Derived to Related terms since they come from the Italian/Spanish, not from the English slang for wine. Equinox ◑ 17:49, 16 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
