Rfv-sense "Shortening of Wakefield" - lowercase? Which sense of Wakefield? If the surname generally, I am not sure that it would merit inclusion (e.g. should we have Rod for Rodriguez and Rodgers etc.?). - TheDaveRoss 13:48, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

I very much doubt that it refers to anything other than the Yorkshire city, much in the way that we also have Winch as an RFV here for Winchester. I can’t say I’ve heard this personally but I have heard Donnie used for Doncaster (which we have a sense for, please don’t RFV this!). Overlordnat1 (talk) 14:18, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
Wakey is easily cited, and I have added that. But lowercase? Kiwima (talk) 22:25, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
I agree that lowercase does indeed seem unlikely. Overlordnat1 (talk) 23:20, 13 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
IMO very clearly just someone who didn't know about our page capitalisation rules. Of course it's Wakey. Equinox 19:12, 18 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
speedied as an error of capitalisation. Kiwima (talk) 20:15, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
