It might be good to mention that an archaic spelling of this is "wonderfull" with two L's.

As adverb - doubtful, citation given is as an adjective[edit]

"Miss Nancy's wonderful like what her mother was, though; isn't she, Kimble?"

- Miss Nancy is wonderful (as was her mother).
