Headword-line template for Afar nouns. The parameters are as follows:

  • The first positional parameter should be supplied with the lemma form with acute accents (´) to indicate stress
  • g= should be supplied with the singular gender as m, f, or mf (if both are used)
  • sg= should be supplied with the singulative form (only for collectives), marked for tone as well
  • gsg= should be supplied like g=, but with the gender of the singulative form
  • sg2= should be supplied with an alternative singulative if it exists, and sg3= or sg4= if there are more alternatives
  • gsg2= should be supplied if an alternative gender is present for a second singulative, and gsg3= or gsg4= for the third and fourth singulative.
  • pl= should be supplied with the plural form, marked for stress as well
  • gpl= should be supplied like g=, but with the gender of the plural form
  • pl2= should be supplied with an alternative plural if it exists, and pl3= or pl4= if there are more alternatives
  • gpl2= should be supplied if an alternative gender is present for a second plural, and gpl3= or gpl4= for the third and fourth plural.
  • m= and f= can be used when there is a masculine or feminine equivalent to the noun
