This template is used with {{egy-glyph}}
to show hieroglyphs in Egyptian text that aren’t supported by WikiHiero. Specifically, this template is for properly formatting the individual unsupported hieroglyph image inside the hieroglyph table that the code in {{egy-glyph}}
creates. If the unsupported glyph is not part of a vertical stack, then there is no reason to maunally use this template; {{egy-glyph}}
automatically does this for you. However, if it is part of a stack, the glyph should be wrapped in this template, while the entire stack should be inside the quad=
parameter of {{egy-glyph}}
.
See the documentation of {{egy-glyph}}
for usage examples.
Parameters[edit]
|1=
- The Gardiner or Hieroglyphica code of the missing sign.
|h=
- The height, in pixels, that the missing sign should be rendered with. Filling this in is optional; the default is 38px, the height of a full line of WikiHiero text.
