    This template should be used to generate the derived terms for Sanskrit roots. Note that Devanagari (or any other script) or an actual link made with {{l}} can be used instead of Latin for any argument.

    Parameters[edit]

    |pres= (optional)
    Present third-person singular comma-separated form(s), e.g. tápati,tápyati for तप् (tap).
    |impf= (optional)
    Imperfect third-person singular comma-separated form(s), e.g. átapat for तप् (tap).
    |fut= (optional) |pfut= (optional) |cond= (optional) |aor= (optional) |bene= (optional) |perf= (optional) |pass= (optional) |caus= (optional) |desid= (optional) |intens= (optional) |int= (optional) |freq= (optional) |inf= (optional) |gerund= (optional) |ppp= (optional)
    Similar to above

    Provide nominal forms here, followed by a "/" entry, and then provide derived/prefixed verbal roots (if any)
    |noderiv= (optional)
    Set to "1" to avoid showing categorized root derivatives.
