tpw-adj

This template generates a headword line, categorizes Old Tupi adjective entries and shows its class and its inflections (if pluriform).

Usage[edit]

Should be used in all Old Tupi Adjective entries, right under the Adjective L3 header.

Parameters[edit]

|1= or |class= (optional)
Used to specify the adjective class, if pluriform. It should be the same of the noun it derivates from (see more at Appendix:Old Tupi nouns). The template recognizes three classes and categorizes the entry accordingly:
Parameter Template shows
IIa IIa class pluriform
IIb IIb class pluriform
IIc IIc class pluriform
IId IIc class pluriform
IIe IIe class pluriform
The inflection is done automatically acording to the adjective class. If left blank, the template understands it is a non-pluriform adjective and does not show any inflection.
|head= (optional)
If necessary, you can specify a diferent headword for the template. It autofills with the page name if left blank.
|noun= (optional)
If not oxytone, the adjective loses its final vowel. Use this parameter to show the original noun. Use |noun=+ to autofill with and -a ending.
