Incorrect glyph rendering[edit]

This template is currently broken for traditional Chinese glyph rendering as one may be able to see in the example I added (at Template:CJKV-forms) involving the character "". (What you see may depend on the font selected by your browser. On my screen, the right half of the traditional Chinese glyph uses the simplified Chinese and Japanese glyph conventions instead of the traditional Chinese convention (which are described on the page for that character).) (Note: The template was broken before the three edits I just made.)

This is apparently because the Template:l (Template:link) template outputs "lang" attributes without a script code even when the "sc" (script) parameter is specified. (The template apparently only uses script code information for outputting class attributes; Template:l should be outputting code like lang="zh-Hant" (instead of lang="zh") that browsers would use for correct glyph selection.)

I don't know how to fix this without fixing Template:l, which I don't know how to edit.

I've just addressed this issue (without editing Template:l); it should now be resolved.

@JustSomeGuy: Thank you for fixing this template. The glyphs are now rendered correctly. KevinUp (talk) 08:55, 2 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

This might should be renamed. 240D:1A:4FB:1E00:3938:F9B0:6761:3428 14:39, 26 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
