Will someone be able to list all the parameters used in this template. AugPi seems to be using this template profusely. Jamesjiao 20:35, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

OK, I'll see about adding a Parameters and/or Usage section. —AugPi 20:37, 27 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks AugPi! Just one question, how do you account for when we want to express both 2nd and 3rd persons (e.g. the 2nd and 3rd person present tense of most if not all regular verbs is the same). The current approach I take is to give two definitions instead of one. I am OK with staying with the current approach. I just want to know if it's something that's overlooked in the script or is it intended? Jamesjiao 01:08, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
The creator of this template is SPQRobin (talkcontribs), who created it over an year ago. At that time he also created
{{nl-verb-entry-2p}} which I now use to create Dutch verb form (2nd & 3rd person singular) entries in "accelerated" fashion. This latter template transcludes two instances of the {{nl-verb-form}} template, so it looks like SPQRobin intentionally ignored joining the 2nd & 3rd person forms into a single line.
However, I might be able to modify this template so that the 2nd & 3rd persons (singular) can be consolidated into a single line. —AugPi 01:42, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Done! When you want the line to mention both the 2nd and 3rd persons, use parameter 2&3=1 or 2&3=yes (or whatever else you want to assign to 2&3=) and do not use parameter p=. That's it! —AugPi 01:57, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
An example is wijkt uit. —AugPi 01:58, 28 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks AugPi. While you busied yourself with the scripting, I took the opportunity to examine the template myself. I think I might be able to contribute to templating in the future as it does not look overly complicated. My experience as a programmer might be of some minimal use here I hope.
