What is the difference between labels {{poetic}} and {{poetry}}? -- Andrew Krizhanovsky (talk) 08:28, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

In theory at least, poetic is a style (see poetic) and poetry is a topic. Terms from the topic poetry could include meter, verse, stanza, line and so on. Mglovesfun (talk) 10:31, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
I see, thank you! -- Andrew Krizhanovsky (talk) 21:39, 16 July 2013 (UTC)Reply
Please don’t add restricted-usage labels to senses because terms are “from a topic.” Verse and line, referring to elements of poetry, are widely known terms, and should not be labelled. Michael Z. 2013-07-19 02:35 z
