Vowel Harmony[edit]

I wrote the vowel harmony rules at w:West Makian language#Vowel harmony, let me know if there's anything I can clear up for you. I'll let V denote regular harmony (so, only realizations would be /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/) and V* denote full assimilation (it just takes the next vowel, /a/, /e/, /i/, /o/, and /u/).

Action verbs (transitive/intransitive/ditransitive)[edit]

The prefixes are as follows:

Non-Imperative (Indicative?)
Person Singular Plural
1st tV mV (inclusive) and a (exclusive)
2nd nV fV
3rd i dV
Imperative
2nd nV* fV*

So, 1st plural exclusive a- and 3rd singular i- are invariant.

We have 6 distinct cases: for jawap, belu, bicara, i, bori, kuba.

Non-Imperative (Indicative?)
Person Singular Plural
1st tajawap, tebelu, tebicara, tii, tobori, tokuba majawap, mebelu, mebicara, mii, mobori, mokuba (inclusive) and a- for all (exclusive)
2nd najawap, nebelu, nebicara, nii, nobori, nokuba fajawap, febelu, febicara, fii, fobori, fokuba
3rd i- for all dajawap, debelu, debicara, dii, dobori, dokuba
Imperative
2nd najawap, nebelu, nibicara, nii, nobori, nukuba fajawap, febelu, fibicara, fii, fobori, fukuba

Directional verbs[edit]

The prefixes are as follows:

Non-Imperative (Indicative?)
Person Singular Plural
1st ti- mi- (inclusive) and a- (exclusive)
2nd ni- fi-
3rd i- di-
Imperative (if it exists, which I think does)
2nd ni- fi-

They are all invariant.

For naso,

Non-Imperative (Indicative?)
Person Singular Plural
1st tinaso minaso (inclusive) and anaso (exclusive)
2nd ninaso finaso
3rd inaso dinaso
Imperative (if it exists, which I think does, but Voohoeve hasn't described or mentioned it)
2nd ninaso finaso

Stative (and the verb dadi)[edit]

There's now an animacy distinction in the 3rd person singular.

Non-Imperative (Indicative?)
Person Singular Plural
1st ti- mi- (inclusive) and a- (exclusive)
2nd ni- fi-
3rd ma-an., i-inan. di-

They are all invariant.

For dadi,

Non-Imperative (Indicative?)
Person Singular Plural
1st tidadi midadi (inclusive) and adadi (exclusive)
2nd nidadi fidadi
3rd madadian., idadiinan. didadi
