Donald Jan Axel, born 29.Auguest 1946 in Hillerod, Denmark.

My name is a pun on Armenian "darlingification" of a first name, meaning "Donald-baby" or some such thing. My mother was Armenian but has never lived in Armenia, having her teen years in Paris and the last 64 years in Denmark. She spoke fluently Danish, French, English, her mothertongue was Armenian. Remember Armenians are Christians, many people assumed I was not christian because we had family in Tehran, Iran. They moved to US and Canada after 1979 (Islamic upheavals in Iran).

My native language is Danish, but having studied English (equaling a bachelor degree together with a master in Music) and having read most study-related books in English, and having spoken English with my family when we visited, and furthermore used it in my 30 years of work, during studies of computer science and teaching English and computer-science, I often detect errors or poor language, and if really necessary I change and leave my name in the talks.

I have so far only entered one little thing in Wiktionary. I use wiktionary, but also "wordreference" and some other dictionary sites. I am glad that some big universities offer a web-dictionary.
