Well... As you might have noticed from my name, I'm from Hawick and will mainly be submitting words from the Borders dialects, also known as South Scots. Feel free to leave me messages on the talk page - I will check them periodically. (Honest!)

And in case you're wondering, most of the Scots definitions I write will be from instinct as opposed to a book, but if references are required, there is a rather good book by Douglas Scott available [1] which should provide backing for any entries that require it.
