Request reason:

User " Ungoliant MMDCCLXIV "who called me an idiot and who is directly involved in two more edit wars with me blocked me. The edit wars, by the way, was him reverting additions I was making to the site, all of which were verifiable. Even if I didn't have reason on fighting back his arbitrary reversals/editions, he still couldn't have been the one to block me, being directly involved. On top of it all, he called me an idiot in Wiki before ever contacting me. To finish it all, he replied to me after I was blocked and could no longer argue back saying I should read Wiki's criteria for inclusion before making additions. As he blocked me, I cannot argue back and remind those who read the discussion in his page that I have already told him that the word I'm trying to add is the only version attested by Aurélio Dictionary, the best-selling Portuguese dictionary in the world. I don't even know how many of Wiki's rules such user has violated.
Each Wiki sets its own rules, so you'll have to learn the rules here. We aren't Wikipedia, with its layers and layers of progressive warnings and bureaucratic procedures. We also don't follow Wikipedia's reliable sources standard, except for etymologies: if a term isn't in actual use, it gets deleted, whether it's in a dictionary or not. If you had read the Criteria for inclusion, you would know that, which is why he asked you to.
As for edit-warring, this was due to your adding content without checking the standards of this site, then re-adding the same content, still without checking. I might have done things differently, but since you refused to even look at the rules and still refuse to even consider that you might be wrong about the rules here, a block is quite reasonable to prevent you from disrupting things further.
As for how many rules have been violated: Ungoliant's offenses have only been a matter of etiquette, if that. You, on the other hand, have been adding and re-adding content that doesn't meet our standards, lecturing us on rules you know nothing about, and generally acting in a belligerent and disruptive manner.
In the US, we drive on the right-hand side of the street. If I go to another country where they drive on the left-hand side and insist on driving like I do at home, I will either get in an accident or get arrested. It may be an arbitrary distinction, but I can't just tell the police in the other country that I do it that way all the time at home. If you can't be bothered to learn our rules and practices, you shouldn't be editing here. Chuck Entz (talk) 17:36, 27 December 2015 (UTC)Reply
