Can Wiktionary allow embedding of YouTube videos that illustrate the meaning of a word? It would provide a clearer sample of the words meaning and usage. It will also make Wiktionary a truly 21st century tool and cost nothing but a few lines of code. I have tried including a sample video link but each time it was denied. If you go to YouTube and search for this video id E0FjareHleg you can see the sample. Hjh1313 (talk) 22:25, 9 November 2018 (UTC)hjh1313Reply

That video isn't true video material: it's just the definition written down, and the pronunciation: we have both those things in our entry anyway. Video is a poor choice of medium for that material, which isn't inherently time-based. Equinox 22:31, 9 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

You did not watch the video to the end it runs 20 seconds and includes video of Simone Biles. Hjh1313 (talk) 20:59, 10 November 2018 (UTC)hjh1313Reply

I hope someone will look at the full video on YouTube. Search for the video id E0FjareHleg. It is something Wiktionary does not yet have Hjh1313 (talk) 23:09, 13 November 2018 (UTC)hjh1313Reply

I added two images from Wikimedia commons to the word abandon and they have been removed. Why? Hjh1313 (talk) 20:59, 10 November 2018 (UTC)hjh1313Reply
