I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk (discussion) and vote pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~, which automatically produces your name and the current date. Interwiki links[edit]

Hi, interwiki links like da:会 are created automagically by RobotGMwikt. You don't need to do this, it will appear presently once you create the page in the Danish wiktionary. (see da:Bruger:RobotGMwikt) Doesn't hurt of course! If you create one in error, the bot will remove it after a while. Robert Ullmann 12:08, 20 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As I mentioned, there isn't any point in adding these, the 'bot will do it. Please don't sort them by code order, they are supposed to be in language name (as transliterated) order. I don't know if the bot will clean this up, or if we will have to do it manually. Robert Ullmann 17:15, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Adding inter-wiki-links is a habit of mine from working with wikipedia. I did not know we use different sort order on wiktionary than wikipedia and sound like a bad choice to not be consistent with wikipedia. Lennart.larsen 07:13, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! There are a lot of things we do that are different. We have entry names in different cases, because it is significant, we prefer print sources for citations while the 'pedia prefers on-line sources, we use templates as structure, so we don't subst: them etc. (but we don't use them for languae names, the language name templates are part of the code, called from other templates ...) I wanted to note that your links outside the main namespace, e.g. for Category:English nouns are very useful, the 'bot can't do that. In the main namespace it is best to leave it to the bot.
One reason for not sorting on code order is that we also use 3-letter ISO 639-3 codes, and they are very often in no sensible order at all. So we sort on the transliterated name in the interwiki links, and on the English name within entries. Robert Ullmann 12:31, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Numbered translations[edit]

Hi, thanks for your contributions. To make the most of your help, I should point out that we don't number translations any more. See pray. DAVilla 07:54, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hjælp med danske oversættelser[edit]

Hej! :)
