Gay men are a subset of gay people, so hating gay men is a subset of hating gay people. It is a subsense. Equinox ◑ 13:57, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Equinox: Gayphobia is an academic term used to describe the fear of gay men. So yes, gayphobia is a subsense of homophobia, and gay men are a subset of gay people. But gayphobia does not refer to lesbians. RADICALFAIRY (talk) 14:01, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
