Albanian[edit]

Why should we mention that the book says that a single use of the term could mean something else than it usually should? That would after all be just one use, perhaps a figurative one, and we are not here to document every single one of those. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 10:11, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

For the same reason that we mention that "Greek" means "anal". I mean, all meanings may be usefull to the reader, and no one is to be wasted.--Skylax30 (talk) 10:12, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Because that meaning meets WT:CFI, while a single use as mentioned in passing of a book probably does not. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 10:13, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
It is not a "passing of a book". It's a book exactly about medieval Albanians, by the top Albanologist. If you don't like it, it's not wikidicionary's problem.--Skylax30 (talk) 10:15, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
Yes, the usage of the term in the meaning you added is mentioned in just a passing (actually passage) about how someone used the word to describe themselves but said it didn't refer to the nationality. That's a single use in a passage of a book and not something that meets the CFI. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 10:17, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

It's very proper for the dictionary. Stop deleting and brink the case to the proper place. It will be there, and in all relevant articles of WP.--Skylax30 (talk) 10:25, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Again, it isn't. Read WT:CFI three times over. Nowhere does it say that a single passage about the usage in a single book makes the entry valid. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 10:37, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

This is not a "usage" in "a single book". The book says that the word appears frequently in the sources. --Skylax30 (talk) 10:50, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Frequently in one source? And how about the definition itself, when the book itself doesn't say much anything like that? SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 10:51, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, but I am not going to argue with you. It's obvious that you want to push a national POV here. Bye.--Skylax30 (talk) 10:54, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Apparently I'm the one with a POV now despite not blatantly violating WT:CFI. SURJECTION ·talk·contr·log· 10:54, 17 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
