Etymology[edit]
In this sign and many related ones, the tips of the two extended fingers represent the eyes.
Production[edit]
- This one-handed ASL sign is produced as follows:
- Posture the dominant hand in the “V” handshape just below the dominant eye, dominant palm facing back.
- Move the hand forward.
- Posture the dominant hand in the “V” handshape several inches in front of the face, dominant palm facing back.
