  1. (soccer) The former home stadium of Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
  2. (soccer, by extension) Tottenham Hotspur Football Club itself.
  3. A road between High Road, Wood Green N22, and Tottenham High Road, N17, and a railway station in this road at the Tottenham end. The stadium (which was in the High Road) could have been named after either or both.

Usage notes[edit]

There is also a White Hart Lane in Barnes (Richmond) and other places; the "White Hart" is a common name for pubs.
