I am attempting to unify my SUL Account. The current User:Ethan has been inactive for over 3 years. They have edits to resolution 3.2 years ago but I don't know if that's enough to be significant for usurpation. If I may quote from the above instructions: “Please add {{renamed}} or similar to their talk page. If that account has email enabled, please email them and explain the situation. I did see this, but then was confused when I looked at {{renamed}} because it says "Your user name has been changed at the request of someone who has this user name elsewhere" - this seems like something that should go there afterward. Until now I thought the wiktionarys are projects where I never have to edit in this capacity, but I just learned that even Wiktionary is sometimes using images which need manual replacement. Hi, I'm user Highlander from fr.wikipedia.org and I'm in the process of creating a Single User Login. I can't login on en.wiktionary.org as there already is a "Highlander" account here which doesn't have any edit at all, so I want to usurp this account on en.wiktionary.org.   • As it says at the top of this page, you can always just create the new account and abandon the old one.
