Policy proposals for Fula language and its several varieties[edit]

  1. List words common to all or most varieties of Fula under Fula (ff) with appropriate usage notes, with variant forms and different words particular to one or two varieties of Fula being noted as such, with entries if needed, and appropriate categorization.
  2. Find a way to use the verbo-nominal roots of the language to add a layer of organization to the lexical material on Fula. Probably will need a subcategory for articles on roots (listing derived forms - ideally by template if that is possible).

Moved from WT:About Pulaar[edit]

Pulaar is the name for the Fula language as spoken in western West Africa, namely Senegal, Mauritania, Gambia, and westernmost Mali. It is one of several varieties of Fula spoken across Sahelian West Africa and into coastal areas and even Central Africa. See Wiktionary:About Fula for more general information.

Noun subcategories by noun class[edit]

Will need to add another layer of subcategories under Category:Fula nouns for nouns by class (there are 25-26 of them, of which 3 are plural classes). This would best be facilitated by modification of the existing noun and plural templates.--A12n (talk) 01:55, 22 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Do you need any help with the templates? I'm sure nobody would object if you just go ahead. DTLHS (talk) 01:59, 22 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
@A12n And I will clean up any mess you make. --kc_kennylau (talk) 04:30, 22 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
Thank you both. I plan to get to it soon. Need to think it through and see what existing templates I can crib from to start.--A12n (talk) 01:17, 24 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
