Rationale[edit]

Let me guess: usex as a name is clearer than ux. --Dan Polansky (talk) 17:39, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

I prefer {{usage example}}, as long as it is just the template name (that is: {{ux}} redirects to {{usage example}}) and is not widely used in entries. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 18:03, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
I hope that the vote makes it clear by "to be used in the wiki markup" that this is about the name to be seen directly in entries. --Dan Polansky (talk) 18:06, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
Your previous votes usually said: "allowing automatic and semi-automatic edits". Maybe we could add this in this vote, too. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 18:17, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
I thought about it and after hesitation decided not to. Some people disliked that phrase, and "Making X the primary template name to be used in the wiki markup" seems to cover this and is more general since it covers also slow-moving manual edits as well. I may use the phrase you quote in the future, but I feel it is not necessary for this vote. --Dan Polansky (talk) 18:28, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
That's fine with me. --Daniel Carrero (talk) 18:41, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
