About removal of "A person defending a disputed spelling should be prepared to provide references for support.":
- This contradicts our practice of evidence-based lexicography as opposed to reference-based lexicography.
About removal of "The misspellings may well merit entries.":
- This will be superfluous if and when Wiktionary:Votes/pl-2014-04/Keeping common misspellings passes.
